Based on the acoustic parameter database of the Kelaqin dialect, this book makes meticulous, systematic and detailed studies and analyses of the phonological characteristics of the Mongolian Kelaqin dialect, including the following five aspects, i.e., the analyses of vowels, the analyses of consonants, stress of words, syllables and phonetic system, thus is of much reference and study significance for people to learn and study the Kelaqin dialect. 

Bao Yin, a Mongolian born in Xing’an of Inner Mongolia, got his PhD degree from the Minzu University of China and is now working as an Assistant Research Fellow and a Master Supervisor at the Faculty of Linguistic Sciences, Beijing Language and Culture University. He is interested in Mongolian dialects and phonology and has published more than 20 papers.
