The Way of
Readingmainly matches the selected readings of Chinese and foreign classic literary
works of the IB Chinese (literature/language and literature) course. Each
textbook takes one work as a core, and the concept of reverse curriculum design
with the goal as the starting point is the main axis. It provides two versions
of teacher’s guidance book and student’s practice book. Each textbook will be
divided into sections according to thematic elements, combining Chinese and
Western teaching strategies, providing diversified teaching guidance and
suggestions for classroom activities. At the same time, it will also provide a
layer-by-layer deep scaffolding model for the overall design, laying a good
foundation for a deep understanding and mastery of excellent Chinese and
foreign literature. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach him to fish, he
will never go hungry. Through studying these works, students can not only pass
the examination and evaluation, but also learn the methods and abilities that
will benefit themselves lifetime.
