This book studies Chinese additive structures in a systematic way and discusses the L1 acquisition process of these structures. From the perspective of linguistic theory, it provides a new thought for the research on the Chinese additive particles “hai” (still), “you” (again) and “ye” (too); from the perspective of language acquisition, it provides statistic support for the universal rules of language development and gives a good explanation of some theoretical problems in L1 acquisition, thus being of great significance to the study of L1 acquisition.
