This book tries to make systematic and comprehensive illustrations
of the Chinese language education in Arab, including the four aspects: First,
the investigation on Chinese language education in Arab and its surrounding
areas; Secondly, a systematic introduction of the current status of Chinese
language education in this area; thirdly, the analysis and study of the
Confucius Institutes, the textbooks and teaching methods of this area;
fourthly, the explorations of the future trends and development of Chinese
language education. The issues discussed in each chapter are different from
each other and also are interrelated, all of which are related to Chinese
language education. It thus can be seen that studies on the Chinese language
education in Arab is a fascinating subject. The author hopes the book will
arouse experts' attention to this issue and provide valuable references for the
theory on international popularization of Chinese language.
