Watching the Movie and Learning Chinese: Flowers in the Cloud is in the Audiovisual Chinese Series published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press. It includes a book and a DVD. Based on the movie Flowers in the Cloud, the book selects 8 excerpts, from which new words and grammar points are chosen and explained in detail. In each lesson, there are exercises on the new words and grammar points as well as the audiovisual exercises based on the movie. A complete version of the film text and explanations of the new words are attached at the end of the book. The accompanying DVD contains two parts: a complete version to be watched for appreciation and a reedited version for use in the classroom.
