He Jie is a professor of College of Chinese Language and Culture, Nankai University as well as a member of International Society for Chinese Language Teaching, China Association for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Chinese Language Society, China Writers'Association. She lectured at University of Latvia from 1996 to 1998 and was invited to attend a seminar in the field of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL) in Hanoverian of German in 1999. Devoted herself to TCFL and language study for a long time, Prof. He has published many works, including Studies of Measure Words on Modern Chinese,Studies of Measure Words on Modern Chinese (Revised Edition) as well as dictionaries of measure words such as The Series of Practical Chinese: The Prompt Understanding of Measure Words. She was also one of the writers of Dictionary of Common Modern Chinese Measure Word and has chiefly edited a textbook and co-edited two textbooks. More than 30 of her papers have been published or selected by national or international conferences.
